PIA Oregon’s Top Golf a Huge Success

PIA Oregon’s Top Golf event at Top Golf in Hillsboro, Oregon last week was a huge success as agents from all over the state and region gathered for golf, some CE, the always important networking and a trade show.

PIA Western Alliance Executive Vice President Kim Legato said it was a terrific event for the reasons listed above.

“I want to thank those who took time out of their busy lives to come.” she said. “I also want to congratulate our 2025 agent of the year, Taylor Starr who is the co-owner of Unified Insurance Group in Corvallis, Oregon, and Kelsey and Logan Wood of Gordon Wood Insurance and Financial Services. Kelsey and his team are the first recipients of PIA Oregon’s new agency of the year.”

The next PIA Top Golf event is in Renton, Washington on Friday, August 15th.

“There is nothing more important to the success of the independent agency system than meeting in groups,” Legato said. “You can take CE courses and get credits online but nothing beats sitting with a group of other agents and listening to different questions and points of view. The same thing can be said for networking, meeting with old friends and making new ones, and just talking about insurance.”
