About OR PIAPAC
The Professional Insurance Agents of Oregon Political Action Committee is a voluntary fund to which insurance agents and companies can contribute. The money is used only to help finance state legislative campaigns of new candidates and legislators who will listen to our needs and concerns. It helps to strengthen PIAO’s voice in the Oregon legislative process.
Our PAC dollars work in conjunction with a program we run during the election season to educate new candidates on insurance issues, and thus helps us to become better acquainted with new legislators from the very beginning.
Now is the time to get active! If you’d like to support candidates who are sensitive to your business concerns, and the concerns of your clients, now is the time to act. If you don’t think that agents and brokers should face a massive increase in their B&O taxes, now is the time to take action so that we can help to elect members to the Oregon State Legislature who will respond to your concerns.
