The PIA Western Alliance is proud to partner with Montana State Fund to provide Western Alliance members holding an active Montana license the opportunity to offer Workers' Compensation to their clients.
Montana State Fund is Montana’s not-for-profit workers’ compensation insurance company, serving more than 25,000 businesses and their employees.
The Montana State fund offers local safety expertise to businesses with hands-on training and resources that help prevent injuries. And when accidents happen, they are there to make sure employees get the care they need to recover and return to work.

How do I qualify for this benefit?
Be a PIA member in good standing and possess a current Montana License.
What paperwork is required to get started?Please complete the following:
- Current E & O Dec page
- Current Montana Agency Insurance License
- Limited Agency Agreement (signed)
- Termination Policy
- W9
- ACH Authorization form for commissions
Submit a completed Workers’ Compensation Acord form with a 5-year loss run.
How do I receive commission?Commissions are paid on the 3rd Friday of every month and deposited via ACH.
